Self-Efficacy
Definition of Construct:
Perceived self-efficacy is one's confidence in being able to perform a particular difficult or novel behavior. The construct is competence-based, prospective, and operative (i.e., must refer to future behavior).
Theoretical Foundation:
First introduced by Albert Bandura in 1977.
